Miami, 2 nights
Begin your exploration in Miami which offers an intriguing blend of history, glamour, grittiness and tradition, from the historic Art Deco buildings and shiny sports cars that parade down Ocean Drive to Washington Drive’s tattoo parlours and Little Havana’s traditional Cuban bars. Florida Keys, 1 night 
The Florida Keys are a string of coral islands connected to the mainland by the Overseas Highway, a 113-mile road linking a number of keys between Key Largo and Key West. The drive across this scenic highway is undoubtedly one of the highlights of your journey. Enjoy the incredible views and vibrant shades of green and blue as you make your way to Marathon, a 10-mile long stretch of islands at the southern end of the keys. Marathon is renowned for its superb seafood restaurants and it hosts one of Florida's best seafood festivals every March. Its sandy beaches and shallow waters are great for families and its easy to explore by bike. 

Fort Myers/Bonita Springs, 1 night 
The Gulf Coast is home to some of Florida's premier beaches. Along the way you could stop off at the Everglades National Park for an airboat tour and the chance to see alligators in their natural habitat. Bonita Springs is blessed with beautiful beaches and is a popular destination for watersports, fishing and bird watching. Explore nature trails, mangroves and pristine beaches in Lovers Key State Park which is made up of four barrier islands and is home to wildlife including dolphins, manatees and bald eagles. History lovers should head north to the city of Fort Myers, the 'city of palms', where highlights include the Southwest Florida Museum of History and the winter retreats of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford.

Clearwater, 1 night 
This beautiful peninsula is one of the most popular family destinations on the Gulf Coast. It offers miles of sandy beaches, a glorious sunny climate and a range of activities including snorkelling, dolphin-watching and fishing. Beyond the beach there are plenty of entertainment options to keep you busy including world-class shopping, golf courses, museums and theatres, as well as nearby Busch Gardens®. Nearby St Petersburg, or St Pete's as it's known locally, is perfect for families and home to the number one rated nature beach in America.

Orlando, 7 nights

Known as the 'Venice of America' because of its miles of inland waterways and canals, this former party town has developed into a family-friendly resort with a sophisticated vibe. The impressive beachfront is bordered by a wide path that is perfect for running, walking or rollerblading while the charming riverside is dotted with restaurants and bars. Cruise the waterways by water taxi, check out the shops and restaurants on Las Olas Boulevard and stroll along the scenic Riverwalk, from the historic downtown district to Stranahan House and the arts and entertainment district where the popular Sunday Jazz Brunch is held on the first Sunday of each month.
